We are looking for an energetic friendly mid-level provider.
Daily Patient mix is 50/50 OB/GYN.
This job is an addition to staff.
The ideal candidate is a Bilingual Physicians Assistant with minimum 2-3 years clinical experience ideally in Women's health and/or Labor and Delivery.
The Job is a Part time Time position working 2-3 days a week.
No Weekends.
No Nights.
No On-Call.

Summary:
Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of clients presenting for routine obstetrical and gynecological care, family planning or minor gynecological complaints by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic tests.
Interprets data, develops and implements therapeutic plans.
Duties of Position:
OB:
Interpret fetal assessment tests (NST) and Initial OB visits.
Experience with initial OB/1st trimester ultrasound is required.
GYN:
perform wellness exams:
pap smears, pelvic exams, reproductive exam; IUD insertions, nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies Understand the unique needs of the adult and/or pediatric patient in providing care in the ambulatory setting.
Uses appropriate clinical judgment in providing care by consulting/referring to the supervising physician, as needed.
Complete patient encounter charting daily with appropriate diagnoses and treatment codes Submit patient charges daily Clinic is open from 830am to 5pm, five days a week.
expected to provide six hours of patient contact per day.
9am to noon.
130pm to 430pm.
No after hour call / No weekend work The patient volume for the practice is approximately 200-250 a week and rapidly growing.
You will work with the scheduling supervisor as to the allocation of patients that you will handle solo and in conjunction with the physician, per day.
Avg is 18 patients.

Minimum Position
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Master's degree from an accredited Physicians Assistant program.
Experience:
Recent Grad and/or medical group practice.
Three years of experience with at least one year of experience in Women's Health preferred.
License/Certification:
Current Physicians Assistant license, DEA License, Current CA license and NPI.
Compensation:
Competitive Compensation> hourly rate hour,; rate depends on prior experience and training.
