Job Details
Are you a seasoned Payroll Accountant with a knack for numbers and a passion for precision? We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic team. This permanent position will have you managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring the accurate calculation of wages, benefits and deductions, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements. You will be the go-to person for any payroll-related queries and will play a pivotal role in maintaining a happy and motivated workforce.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Payroll Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Processing domestic and international payrolls using ADP Payroll Systems.
2. Preparing and maintaining accurate payroll records for all employees, including hours worked, gross payroll, benefits, and insurance.
3. Conducting regular payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Managing all aspects of benefit deductions, wage garnishments, and tax codes.
5. Preparing and distributing W-2's and other necessary payroll reports.
6. Keeping track of overtime costs and payroll fluctuations, and making necessary adjustments.
7. Ensuring accurate tracking of vacation and sick leave.
8. Preparing 401k and other retirement plans.
9. Adhering to all payroll laws and best practices.
10. Handling leave of absence and other employee requests.
11. Preparing Form 5500 and other required documents.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll accounting role.
2. Extensive experience with ADP Payroll Systems.
3. Knowledge of domestic and international payroll processing.
4. Proficiency in payroll reporting and auditing.
5. Familiarity with benefit deductions, gross payroll, hours worked, W-2's, overtime cost reporting, and payroll fluctuations.
6. Experience in maintaining employee payroll records, benefits, and insurance.
7. Expertise in payroll reconciliations and adherence to all payroll laws and best practices.
8. Experience in handling leave of absence, preparing 401k, benefit deductions, tax codes, wage garnishments.
9. Ability to track vacation and sick leave accurately.
10. Knowledge of retirement plans and Form 5500.
