The Financial Analyst will provide service to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) needs of the Global Field Operations group. The purpose is to provide consistent reporting, analysis, forecasting, and engagement in the budgeting process. The FP&A manager will provide oversight for this position and this person will work directly with the designated management of the GFO group.
Strong Excel skills required
The Senior Financial Analyst assists in the development, monitoring, and review of the operating budgets in. He/she provides financial guidance and support to supervisors and managers in the preparation of their budgets. The Financial Analyst utilizes University accounting system information, database, and spreadsheets to reconcile accounts and perform budget versus actual analysis.
He/she is responsible for researching, analyzing, and summarizing financial activities in assigned accounts. The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and providing reports as required, and assists in the implementation and administration of financial policies, programs, and practices. He/she reviews and approves division's purchase orders and invoices as assigned; and proactively responds to customer requests in a timely manner.
