Catering Director

An immediate opening for a Catering Director in our Newport Beach, corporate location.
The prospective candidate must have at least five years of experience in a high-energy, fast-paced catering or hospitality environment. Must posses strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to multi-task as well. Must have strong customer relation skills and be team oriented.
Highly motivated and detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to plan, oversee and execute events.
Knowledge of the food service industry also a plus.
Must have knowledge of exquisite food presentation, to perfectly match the mood, setting and overall ambiance of each event.
Coordinate and support venue marketing initiatives.
Posses knowledge of current food trends.
Must be PC literate in Windows, Word and Excel
Proven sales record.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Help with administrative duties
Assist in the management of invoices, account-related documents
Assist in the coordination and delivery of catering events

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
